Our client, a well-established organisation in Reading, Berkshire, is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Residential Children's Support Worker to join their team.

As a Residential Children's Support Worker, you will have the unique opportunity to work closely with children and young people, providing them with the support, guidance, and care they need to thrive. You will be responsible for creating a nurturing and safe environment that promotes their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

In this role, you will:
- Build strong, positive relationships with the children and young people in your care
- Assist with their daily routines, including meals, hygiene, and bedtime
- Encourage and support their participation in educational and recreational activities
- Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement individualised care plans
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with organisational policies and procedures

To be successful in this position, you should have:
- Previous experience working with children or young people, preferably in a residential setting
- A genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
- A valid DBS check and references

Our client offers a competitive salary of £15 - £17 per hour, along with ongoing training and support to help you grow and develop in your role. This is a part-time position, providing you with the flexibility to balance your work and personal life.
