Vehicle Parts & Logistics Coordinator (267dm) – Tamworth - £32,000 DOE

Our client is looking for a Parts Specialist to join their Tamworth Department.

They will be handling incoming and outgoing parts enquiries, managing sales both over the counter and by phone, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
This role directly supports the operational success of the branch by achieving key performance targets in sales, margin, and customer satisfaction.

DUE TO THE NATURE OF THIS RECRUITMENT CONSULTANCY, WE ARE ONLY ABLE TO REPRESENT INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE EX MILITARY.

Core Duties & Responsibilities:
-Handle incoming calls in a professional, confident manner — promoting and securing parts sales while upholding the company’s service standards.
-Liaise with suppliers to source and order parts, maintaining optimal stock levels and ensuring best-value procurement at all times.
-Support the Branch Manager in meeting monthly targets for sales, profit margin, and contribution.
-Operate as part of a tight-knit team, maintaining high levels of communication and cooperation to meet company service level agreements (SLAs) and KPIs.
-Conduct regular stock checks and cleanses; process internal transfers promptly to maintain accurate and efficient inventory management.
-Engage with both local and national customers, delivering exceptional service to build lasting relationships and repeat business.
-Identify and develop new customer opportunities, fully promoting the company’s truck and trailer parts capability.
-Handle cash and payment systems with accuracy and honesty, adhering to all company financial and safety procedures.
-Drive sales performance both at the trade counter and through outbound contact, working closely with the team to exceed targets.
-Stay informed on local market activity, identifying potential opportunities to grow business presence and customer base.
-Always comply with company health and safety standards, ensuring the safety of colleagues, customers, and the workplace.

Essential Knowledge & Experience:
-Strong working knowledge of commercial truck and trailer parts.
-Confident communicator, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of personnel.
-Professional telephone manner and customer-facing confidence.
-Competent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office.
-Proven ability to deliver high standards of customer service.
-Awareness of health and safety principles in a workplace setting.
