Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Social Worker (SSW) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional support and advocacy for our clients. As a Senior Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in assessing and addressing the social, emotional, and psychological needs of individuals and families facing various challenges. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans, ensuring that our clients receive the highest quality of service. Your expertise in case management, crisis intervention, and community resources will be essential in empowering clients to navigate their circumstances effectively. Additionally, you will be responsible for mentoring and supervising junior social workers, contributing to their professional development and ensuring best practices within the team. Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' needs and develop individualized service plans.
Provide counseling and therapy to individuals and families in need of support.
Facilitate access to community resources and services for clients and their families.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and address complex social issues.
Mentor and supervise junior social workers and interns, fostering their professional growth.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and case progress.
Advocate on behalf of clients to ensure they receive the resources and support they require.
Requirements
Master's degree in social work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
Valid state licensure as a clinical social worker (LCSW) or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of post-graduate experience in a relevant social work setting.
Demonstrated experience in case management and crisis intervention.
Strong understanding of social service systems and community resources.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.

Hours Per Week: 36.50
Start Time: 08:45
End Time: 17:15
Pay Per Hour: £22.51
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands
