What skills and experience we're looking for
•
• Provide effective HR advice, guidance, and support across all Trust schools
• Be the first point of contact for employee relations, ensuring professional and confidential service
• Support HR Manager with projects and casework, and collaborate with school-based PA/Office Managers on transactional tasks
• Manage first-line casework (absence, change management, disciplinary, grievance, capability, appeals)
• Coach line managers, attend meetings, and maintain accurate records
• Support payroll and recruitment processes, ensuring deadlines and compliance
• Prepare contractual documentation and support HR project
• Has CIPD Level 3 or above, or significant equivalent HR experience (CIPD Level 5 desirable)
• Brings HR experience, strong IT skills (Outlook, Word, Excel), and can take accurate meeting minutes
• Is confident in handling sensitive conversations and providing solutions
• Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills
• Works well independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to attend meetings across sites
