Initially, this post will be in Year 3 due to staff retirement.The Governors and Head teacher of Hempshill Hall Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed, and ambitious Level 3 Teaching Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced person to join our excellent staff team. The successful candidate will possess the personal drive to proactively support the teachers and pupils across the school, be competent at planning and leading group activities and have sound knowledge of the expectations of learners. You will need to be a good team player who is professional and adaptable and can show initiative in tailoring learning to meet individual’s needs. You will be required to cover PPA in both Year 3 classes on a weekly basis.
The successful applicant will be expected to:
• Have experience of working in a classroom environment
• Be familiar with the KS2 curriculum and be able to adapt it to make content accessible for all learners
• Work well as part of a team
• Be confident, innovative, reliable, and flexible
• Commit to our key values
• Build positive relationships with all children and manage behaviour positively
• Help us to achieve our aim of outstanding education for all
• Be able to communicate effectively with parents
