William Morris School is trauma informed, attachment focused, and relationship based supporting young people who in some cases have experienced childhood trauma and adversity and who as a result have complex needs. Responsibilities for this role: • Teaching Assistants have a crucial role in the school, through establishing key relationships with students, and through these relationships supporting engagement, motivation and skills development. Teaching Assistants with relevant experience will be placed at the appropriate level of the pay scale. • Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm. • Pension Scheme • Free onsite parking and free lunch/meals provided • Entitled to apply for Blue Light discount card • Health Cash Plan for Employees • Employee welcome bonus where you could earn an additional £600 in the first year, with payments made between 6 weeks and 1 year (subject to the normal PAYE deductions) • Positive community feel Requirements for this role are: • A keenness to learn and a willingness to implement our model of approach and best practice models in education. • Kind, caring, adaptable and reliable. • An understanding or experience of Education settings.
