Teaching Assistant - Nursery to KS2 (Including SEN Support)
Location: Primary Schools across the Liverpool Area
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm
Pay: £95 - £115 per day + holiday pay
Start Date: Immediate Starts Available
We're looking for warm, enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support pupils across Nursery, Reception, and Key Stages 1 & 2 - including children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). If you're passionate about helping children learn, grow, and thrive in a supportive environment, we'd love to hear from you. Both part-time and full-time roles are available.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Supporting children in their learning, play, and development across different age groups.
- Assisting teachers with classroom activities, routines, and behaviour management.
- Providing one-to-one or small group support, including for pupils with SEN.
- Helping create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
- Supporting children with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social/emotional challenges.
- Following individual education plans (IEPs) and working closely with SENCOs and other professionals.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working with children in Nursery, Reception, KS1 or KS2.
- Experience supporting children with SEN (desirable but not essential).
- Level 2 or 3 TA qualification (or equivalent).
- Friendly, patient, and adaptable approach.
- Valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
