Crynodeb
One position is in Boston and South Holland for 22.2 hours per week.
One position is in East Lindsey full time 37 hours per week.
As an Early Years Specialist Teacher, you will work as part of a multi- disciplinary locality-based team to provide skilled support to educational providers in the maintained, private, voluntary and independent sectors. You will guide and support the implementation of the graduated approach, to ensure that the Local Authority meet their statutory requirements in the 0-25 SEND Code of Practice.
Ensure that there is an integrated approach to the delivery of high-quality Early Years provision, with a focus on improving the educational outcomes of children; in order to raise attainment for all children and narrow the attainment gap. Provide universal advice on Early Years SEN/inclusion issues to ensure early identification of need.
You will also be part of the Local Authority’s education health care needs assessment process.
Provide support to early years providers to enable effective inclusion for children with SEND to support them to access universal and targeted provision.
Work with partners to ensure they are aware of services available to support parents' and carers' in their parenting journey.
Deliver identified evidence-based programmes with Early Years settings and families to children, which focus on school readiness.
Work with colleagues in the locality team, family hubs and children’s centres to support The Best Start in Life Strategy.
You will need to be:
Experienced in line with the requirements of the Job Description.
Up to date with legislative framework, the SEND Code of Practice 0-25, the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and the Children’s Centre and Best Start in Life strategy.
Engaging, creative, knowledgeable and quality orientated.
Approachable with excellent communication, influence and negotiation skills.
Able to work independently and with confidence.
