Berkshire Eating Disorders Service is an all age service comprising two supportive, welcoming and motivated teams who seek to provide the best care for all our patients. We are looking for an organised, motivated and enthusiastic Administrator to work in a friendly and supportive admin team who provide support to the multidisciplinary clinicians in providing a patient focused community mental health service.

The post will be based across both sites at either Erlegh House, Reading or St Marks Hospital, Maidenhead. There will be some flexibility for home working too.

• Supporting the Business Support Manager, and Team lead with Project work, data submissions, analysis, activity reports, operational reports and other administrative tasks to be completed to a high standard and within required timeframes.

• To provide administration function for the BEDS Adults eating disorders team for daily operational requirements and meeting service delivery requirements.

• Good sound knowledge of Microsoft Office 365/Word/Excel and knowledge of RiO would be an advantage. Run monthly reports for Business Support Manager.

• Input confidential correspondence, reports and other documentation to a high standard within an agreed timescale using software packages.

• Be aware of meeting deadlines, planning and prioritising workload in accordance with service needs.

• The post holder will be expected to liaise and communicate effectively with all levels of staff within the service and the wider Trust as well as members of the public.

The “must haves” for this role:


1.    Excellent interpersonal, observational, and reporting skills, able to deal with sensitive and     challenging phone calls.
2.    Confident in IT skills and using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. 
3.    Previous experience of working in an office and/or customer care environment. 
4.    Be resilient and able to muti-task and adaptable to change.
