Funding Specialist | Altrincham (Mostly Remote) | Full Time | Up to £30,000 + Commission + Bonus

What’s in it for you?

Our client is a fast-growing and ambitious business in the merchant services and payments industry. Following a period of rapid expansion and restructuring, they’re building a strong, forward-thinking team to support their next stage of growth.

This is an urgent hire for a Funding Specialist who will play a key role in managing client funding journeys, covering key responsibilities during the manager’s absence, and continuing to grow with the company long-term.

You’ll enjoy:

• Competitive base salary up to £30,000 (flexible for exceptional candidates)
• Uncapped commission structure (typically £300–£600 per deal)
• Monthly performance-based bonuses
• Mostly remote working, with occasional travel to the Altrincham office or client sites (expenses covered)
• Supportive and collaborative team environment
• Opportunities for professional development and career growth
• 20 days holiday + bank holidays

Hours & Flexibility

• Standard: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am–5:30 pm
• Flexible options: 10:00 am–6:30 pm, part-time hours, or one day off per week may be considered

Are you the right person for the job?

You’ll be confident, proactive, and detail-oriented — someone who enjoys building client relationships and managing processes from start to finish.

You should have:

• Experience in mortgages, insurance, finance, loans, or merchant services
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• The ability to work independently and take initiative
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset with great attention to detail
• Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot experience a plus, training provided)
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
• Residency in North West England

Graduates with strong communication skills and the right attitude will also be considered.

What will your role look like?

Working closely with an experienced Manager (Lee) and a supportive team member (Rebekah), you’ll manage warm client leads through the entire funding process — from initial contact to provider submission and compliance.

You’ll:

• Act as the main point of contact for clients and leads (no cold calling or lead generation)
• Guide clients through the funding process, gathering documents and liaising with providers
• Keep merchants regularly updated throughout their funding journey
• Maintain accurate client records and updates in the CRM (HubSpot – training provided)
• Ensure provider requirements are met and clients supply necessary documentation
• Take ownership of lead management previously handled by the manager
