Crynodeb
We are currently seeking a Domestic Assistant to join our dedicated team in a warm and friendly care home at 220 Preston Road. This is a vital role that helps ensure our residents live in a comfortable and hygienic setting where they feel truly at home. We are looking for someone with a caring and compassionate attitude, good attention to detail and time management, ability to work independently and as part of a team and willingness to undergo training and development.
Some key responsibilities of the role include maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the care home, clean our people’s rooms, communal areas, and staff facilities, follow and adhere to infection control procedures and health & safety guidelines, work collaboratively with care and support staff, treat our people with dignity and respect at all times.
The successful candidate is expected to have basic literacy and numeracy skills, understanding of cleaning techniques and hygiene standards, Knowledge of infection control (training will be provided), ability to follow instructions and work to a schedule, and previous experience in a care or healthcare setting is desirable but not essential.
