Weighbridge Operator – Hespin Wood, Carlisle
Salary: £12,879.36 per annum
18 hours per week, 07:30 and 17:00 Thursday and Friday
The main purpose of the role is to process incoming and outgoing transactions at the weighbridge in Hespin Wood, Cumbria.
Your key responsibilities:
Accurately weighing vehicles entering and leaving the site
Ensuring correct paperwork is completed for incoming and outgoing loads
Checking compliance of loads according to local operating procedures
Ensure tickets are processed in compliance with the performance framework
Complete basic tonnage reconciliations for waste leaving and entering sites
Report running on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
Maintaining the traffic management system and to ensure the safe operation of the site
Ensuring vehicle turnaround times are adhered to or report delays
Delivering excellent customer service at all times
Able to work across other sites when needed
Essential criteria for this role:
Exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
Excellent numeracy and literacy skills, meticulous attention to detail.
Previous experience on a weighbridge would be an advantage
