Administration Team Leader - Repair Service

Location: East London (Office Based)
Salary: Competitive, up to £34,000
Contract: Permanent

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Administration Team Leader to head up a team of Administrators managing a busy repair service and central service inbox. This is an exciting, permanent opportunity to join a dynamic team covering a major contract in London, undertaking repair and Maintenance works on behalf of local councils and contractors.

The Role: Leading a High-Performing Admin Team

You will be crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the administrative support for a critical service. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Motivate, coach, and support your team of Administrators.

  • Conducting regular 1-2-1 team meetings and performance reviews.

  • Preparing reports and keeping your line manager appraised of all activity.

  • Undertaking weekly audits of your team's work, promptly addressing any errors.

  • Managing the communal repairs mailboxes, ensuring timely responses.

  • Ensuring the team continuously delivers exceptional customer service.

What You'll Need to Succeed (About You):

We are looking for a dedicated and proven leader with a can-do approach and a passion for customer service excellence:

  • Similar Experience: Must have experience and be able to show evidence of leading a small team, ideally in a similar administrative or service/repairs sector.

  • Excellent Customer Service skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential.

  • Ability to prioritise issues effectively and meet tight deadlines.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.

  • Efficient on various IT systems and able to track data accurately.

  • Willing to go the extra mile to deal with difficult situations.

  • Full-time office based role in East London: Hours are 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
