Recruitment Professionals is recruiting on behalf of a family-run nursery based in South Croydon.
We are looking for a qualified and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join a warm, friendly team dedicated to creating a nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
About the Role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you’ll play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education for children. You’ll create engaging learning experiences, ensure their safety and wellbeing, and build positive relationships with parents and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safeguard and promote the welfare of all children.
• Provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care.
• Plan and deliver activities that meet each child’s individual needs and interests.
• Maintain accurate records of children’s development and learning.
• Support colleagues and help create a positive team environment.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with parents and carers.
• Take part in staff meetings, training sessions, and nursery events.
• Uphold excellent standards of safety, hygiene, and confidentiality at all times.
Requirements:
• A recognised Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent).
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Previous experience working in a nursery or similar childcare setting.
• A genuine passion for childcare and commitment to creating a positive learning environment.
