Personal Assistant / Support Worker (Part-Time, Flexible Rota)
Location: Rochdale
Hours: Up to 20 hours per week (flexible, 3-week rota)
Pay: £12.60 per hour
About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable, caring, and proactive Personal Assistant to support a female adult with physical disabilities in her daily life. The role also includes helping with her three children and supporting the smooth running of a busy family home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and daily living support to an adult with physical disabilities.
- Assist with household tasks, including cleaning, laundry, and preparing meals.
- Support with childcare routines (school runs, activities, and playtime).
- Occasionally travel to assist with work commitments outside of the home.
- Promote independence and a positive, supportive home environment.
- Work flexibly on a 3-week rota, with shifts between 6am and 6pm.
About You:
- Previous experience working with children is essential.
- Experience supporting individuals with physical disabilities is highly desirable.
- Kind, trustworthy, patient, and adaptable.
- Able to work independently and as part of a family team.
- Flexible and reliable, with good communication skills.
Contract:
- Part-time, up to 20 hours per week (flexible schedule arranged on a 3-week rota).
- Pay: £12.60 per hour
