Summary
Become an Active Support Worker and provide daily support to adults with learning disabilities, autism and/or complex needs.
Promote the Active Support Model to increase independence, champion engagement and facilities access to meaningful opportunities.
As an Active Support Worker, you will be responsible for:
- Support with daily tasks - Personal care, food preparation & cooking, health & medication management, finance management.
- Support with community access & engagement - Every moment has potential.
- Promotion of safeguarding & risk assessment as well as engagement in the person centred planning process.
- Promote and champion a real high quality of life for the people we support as part of a diverse team committed to quality care & support.
We offer flexible shift patterns on a rolling rota, 6 weeks paid leave per year & an employee recognition scheme that awards additional paid leave. We also provide a fully accessible Employee Assistance Programme to promote staff well-being.
