Crynodeb
Theatr Colwyn yw un o sinemâu gweithredol hynaf y DU a’r theatr weithredol hynaf yng Nghymru. Rydym yn cynnal rhaglen lwyddiannus o sioeau a chynyrchiadau byw ar gyfer ein cynulleidfaoedd ffyddlon yn ogystal ag oriel ffotograffiaeth flaengar Oriel Colwyn. Mae ein chwaer-leoliad, Venue Cymru, sef y ganolfan gelfyddydau fwyaf yng Ngogledd Cymru, wedi’i lleoli ychydig filltiroedd i ffwrdd yn Llandudno.
Rydym yn awyddus i glywed gan weithwyr proffesiynol technegol profiadol sy’n awyddus i weithio yn ein hadeilad hanesyddol yn lleoliad hyfryd Bae Colwyn, sy’n agos at y môr a’r mynyddoedd ac o fewn awr i Fanceinion a Lerpwl.
Dylai ymgeiswyr fod yn gyfarwydd â gweithredu systemau taflunion digidol sain/goleuo/llwyfan, meddu ar wybodaeth am offer technegol a gallu helpu’r adran dechnegol yn Venue Cymru lle bo angen. Bydd y gwaith yn cynnwys cyflwyniadau byw, ffilmiau a chynadleddau / digwyddiadau / gweithgareddau.
Gweithio oddeutu 25 awr yr wythnos ar gontract oriau blynyddol, bydd patrwm shifftiau’n cynnwys gyda’r nosau, penwythnosau a gwyliau banc.

Work base: Theatr Colwyn
Theatr Colwyn is the oldest working cinema in the UK and the oldest Civic Theatre in Wales. We host a successful programme of shows and live productions for our loyal audiences as well as housing the cutting-edge photography gallery, Oriel Colwyn. Our sister-theatre, Venue Cymru, which is the largest arts centre in North Wales, is located a few miles away in Llandudno.
We want to hear from experienced technical professionals who would like to work in our historic building in the beautiful setting of Colwyn Bay, benefiting from proximity to the sea and mountains and only one hour from Manchester and Liverpool.
Applicants should be familiar with the operation of sound/lighting/stage and digital projection systems, have knowledge of technical equipment and be able to assist the technical department at Venue Cymru when required. Work will encompass live presentations, film screenings and conference / events activities.
Working an average of 25 hours per week on an annualised hour’s basis, the shift pattern will include evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
