We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Services Officer to join our successful in-house Homes Plus Customer Services team. We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic professional who can bring our values to life and ensure our customers receive an exceptional service experience.

If you’re passionate about delivering outstanding customer care and want to be part of a supportive, forward-thinking organisation — we’d love to hear from you!

About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity for people who have a passion for customer service and have previous experience in this sector. As a top-rated organisation for social housing, Housing Plus Group is a leading provider of homes and care services that customers can trust. When you join our friendly Customer Service team, you’ll be providing the all-important help and support ensuring our customers feel supported and informed from the very first call.

Job Overview:

You’ll be responsible for handling a wide range of incoming customer communications across multiple channels — including phone, email, and social media. We’re looking for someone who can listen carefully to each customer’s individual needs, think on their feet, and take initiative to deliver effective solutions. You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues in other departments to ensure every customer receives a prompt and helpful response.

We’re looking for someone who has:

• Good experience of customer contact, preferably in a busy call handling environment.

• Good IT skills, including Word and Excel, with the aptitude to learn more.

• Clear and concise verbal and written communication.

• A problem-solving mindset.

• Ability to handle sensitive enquiries and difficult conversations with diplomacy.

We can offer you:

A comprehensive induction programme with excellent learning opportunities; with mandatory and specialist training available. We can offer 25 days holiday (increasing with each year of service, up to a maximum of 30 days), bank holidays and three concessionary days over the Christmas period. We also offer the option to join our contributory pension scheme, access to a dedicated Employee Healthcare Portal, eye care vouchers and a cycle to work scheme. To find out more about more, please check our Benefits Page.
