Community Support Worker - Cardiff
Are you passionate about making a difference in people’s lives? Do you have experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour? If so, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Provide person-centred support to individuals with mental health needs and challenging behaviour.
Promote independence and wellbeing through daily activities and community involvement.
Support care plans and goals in collaboration with service users and professionals.
Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the wider support team.
Drive to service users’ homes and appointments across Cardiff and surrounding areas.
Requirements:
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred)
Challenging behaviour and Autism awareness training
Minimum 1 year of UK based experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
