Mana Education is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across schools across Northants.
The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with teachers and SENCOs to:
Provide one-to-one and small-group support for children with additional needs.
Help manage classroom behaviour and encourage positive social interactions.
Support pupils with autism, ADHD, and emotional or behavioural difficulties.
Promote inclusion and ensure all pupils feel valued and supported.
About You:
We welcome applications from candidates with experience or qualifications in SEN/SEND support, such as:
- Relevant experience working with children with additional needs
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- CACHE Level 2 or Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning
- Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools
Additional training such as Team Teach, Makaton, PECS, or Autism Awareness is an advantage.
