The Best Connection Tamworth are recruiting for an Assembly Technician / Panel Wirer to join our prestigious client, a leader in precision engineering and manufacturing. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a modern, clean workshop environment with long-term prospects and overtime available.
Key Responsibilities:- Assembling and manufacturing parts and assemblies into complete machines ready for testing
- Mechanical fitting and assembly of parts, sub-assemblies, and finished products
- Control panel assembly and wiring
- Wiring and testing of chambers using detailed work instructions
- Self-inspection of completed work to ensure quality standards
- Finishing and packaging of machines ready for dispatch
- Suggesting and implementing improvements to reduce waste and costs
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the work area
- Occasional picking and packing of spares orders
- Assisting in training of other employees when required
- £14.93 per hour + overtime (£22.40ph)
- Day shift - no weekends!
