Role Purpose
We currently have a vacancy in our Corporate Finance team for a skilled and motivated individual who will provide support for a range of Council services. Comfortable working with large volumes of transactional data you will also be able to relate this to higher level financial reporting. This is not purely a "number-crunching" role and you will need to have an interest in looking beyond the numbers to provide the insight and support we are looking for. The Corporate Finance section sits within a wider team covering Corporate Services and Infrastructure and Environment and provides scope for ad hoc project work as well as the ongoing monitoring of budgets and forecasts. If you feel you have the skills and enthusiasm necessary for this position we will be delighted to hear from you.
Essential
AAT/HND or equivalent or substantial experience in a financial management environment
