This role will be required to provide an effective stock control service, ensuring consumable and critical components are readily available, enabling the projects and estates maintenance services to be delivered in accordance with contractual requirements.
The Procurement & Contracts Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the delivery of a high quality logistic service. The post holder is expected to exercise a high degree of autonomy making decisions in line with service requirements.
Within this role you will be responsible for monitoring issuance and receipt of tools and equipment, ensuring all items are properly tracked, Coordinate regular testing and calibration of equipment in line with operational and safety standards, maintaining accurate records, ensuring readiness for use, review and manage subcontractor and service contracts, tracking key dates such as expiry and renewal, ensure timely market engagement to source competitive pricing and value and maintaining compliance and cost- effectiveness across all contracted services.

Main Accountabilities:
- Provide an effective stock control service, ensuring consumables and critical components are available to support project delivery and estates maintenance in line with contractual obligations
- Ensure accurate stock records are maintained and monitored
- Ensure that stock is controlled in a secure manner
- Complete monthly and annual stocktake
- Monitor and manage the issuance and receipt of tools and equipment, maintaining accurate tracking records and ensuring readiness for use
- Coordinate regular testing and calibration of tools and equipment to meet operational and safety standards
- . Review and manage subcontractor and service contracts, ensuring timely tracking of expiry and renewal dates
- Conduct market engagement activities to secure competitive pricing and value for stock and contracted services.
- Maintain compliance with procurement policies and contractual requirements across all stock and service-related activities
- Collaborate with internal teams to forecast stock needs and support efficient resource planning
