Crynodeb
The post holder shall also be responsible for the integration team’s operation and support our existing ESB technology.
The role provides coordination, experience, and expertise in enterprise integrations, including the line management of the integrations team. The postholder will lead on the development and implementation of a strategy and roadmap for all integration development and support across both on-premises and cloud integration platforms. They will ensure standard ways of working and approaches are embedded within the team that align to wider digital experience and development approaches using Agile. They will plan and oversee all developments and ensure a planned pipeline of change and business as usual work is balanced and successfully delivered that meets the needs of a broad array of end users.
The role also includes an element of hands-on knowledge of integration development and hybrid integration architecture.
The post holder will provide experienced technical knowledge, management, and direction for the integration team, and ensure the team carries out evaluation, design, programming, testing, and documentation in support of the University’s needs, with a specialism of:
Developing integrations for the University Integration Platform (ESB/IPaaS), connecting data via integration developments, flows, and enhancements, including using APIs and/or other transfer methods.
Whilst this role is mostly remote, there is a need for team office attendance once a week (usually Tuesdays), plus other onsite days as required (department meetings, etc.)
