Electrical Fitter - rotating Equipment

Crynodeb
We require an Electrical fitter to work in our busy fully equiped Electrical motors workshop.
Duties will include
Experience in dismantling a wide range of motors (including AC & DC), Brake motors, Gearboxes, Pumps, Fan units & experience with static & dynamic testing.
Testing & repair of Transformers
identifying & repairing any faults found.
Re-assembly & testing of equipment following repair
Working with motor voltages up to 415V & test voltages up to 2Kv
Dealing with technical issues which may arise
Attending site to test & analyse motors & Generators in use using standard industry equipment & determining faults and repair action required.
Experience working with Alternators and fault finding preferable not essential.
Hours of work are 40 hours mon-Fri 08.00-16.30 day shift with occasional overtime or weekend work during busy periods. The role comes with a very competetive starting rate of £18.17 per hour plus usual benefits and enhanced pay for overtime.
A key part of the role is to provide rostered out of hours cover which attracts generous remuneration
