-Week 1: Saturday-Sunday (Day), Monday-Tuesday (Night)
-Week 2: Saturday-Sunday (Day), Monday-Wednesday (Night)Overtime available.

-Day: 07:00 - 19:00
-Night: 19:00 - 07:00
Hourly Rate: £13.85 per hour (paid breaks)

Role Overview
As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, security, and customer service standards of our site. You will work closely with the on-site supervisor and management team to carry out all duties to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
-Deliver excellent customer service at all times
-Complete all assigned duties as per instructions from supervisors and management
-Report and act on any security breaches to line managers and the 24-hour control room
-Assist with any security, safety, or criminal investigations
-Log all incidents in the reporting system accurately and promptly
-Conduct internal and external patrols of buildings and car parks
-Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and regulatory standards
-Follow all site-specific Assignment Instructions (AIs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Risk Assessments (RAs), memos, and toolbox talks
-Wear and maintain a valid SIA licence while on duty
-Operate CCTV equipment where required
-Attend training courses as directed
-Comply with all legal, health, and safety requirements of the role
-Managing the Security Control Room with the Supervisor

-Proven ability to problem-solve under pressure
-Capable of multi-tasking and prioritising workload
-Smart and professional appearance at all times
-Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills
-Commitment to personal and professional development
-Excellent attendance and timekeeping record
-Physically fit to carry out manual handling tasks, long foot patrols, and work on stairs
-Basic IT skills (Word and Excel)
Requirements
Essential:
-Previous security experience
-Valid CCTV SIA Licence
-Police Vetting must be passed within 3months.
Desirable:
-Experience working in a busy reception environment
-Experience within a museum or cultural venue
