What skills and experience we're looking for

Westbury on Severn CE Primary school is a small, highly inclusive, rural Primary school on the edge of the Forest of Dean. We have wonderful children, supportive parents and a highly skilled and dedicated staff.

The Headteacher, in collaboration with the Governing Board, is actively seeking a compassionate and capable Assistant Headteacher to join our school to help shape its future direction. This is a strategic and hands-on role combining leadership, class teaching and responsibility as the school’s Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator (SENDCo). This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wishes to gain valuable experience within leadership whilst broadening their knowledge of SEND, as well as further developing their teaching skills in a mixed age KS2 classroom.

Visits to school are encouraged. We are offering visiting times at 3.30pm on 13th November or 9am on 14th November. Please contact the school to book a place on either of these dates.
