Summary
Orinoco The Oxfordshire Scrapstore’s mission is to banish
boredom and save the planet, using recycled materials to
inspire creativity and play. Over the last three decades,
Orinoco has saved lorry loads of interesting resources from
ending up in landfill and helped turn them into fabulous and
inspiring items.
Our Store Managers oversee day-to-day activities at our
scrapstores in Oxford and Banbury, creating a welcoming,
inspiring environment for customers, staff and volunteers.
It’s a fantastically varied role, with plenty of scope for
growth.
We’re looking for someone with a background in retail
management, proven leadership skills and the ability to
manage and motivate a diverse team. With a strong
customer focus, you’ll have excellent communication and
organisational skills to plan and prioritise the workload and
deliver results. You’ll have a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude, with
plenty of energy and enthusiasm, as well as the confidence to
seek out new opportunities for development.
