SUPPORT WORKERS
(Fordley NE23/Tynemouth NE30)
Annitsford Drive [NE23] is a Supported Living service providing 24-hour support to 3 young men with complex needs. In addition, the team support a young man living independently in his own home in Tynemouth [NE30], for a lesser number of hours each week.
Applicants will need to be experienced in delivering services of excellence to autistic adults or be willing to develop their knowledge and skillset in this area.
We’d love to hear from you if you:
o Could offer a high level of commitment and flexibility towards service delivery
o Have a good level of physical fitness that enables participation in a variety of activities including walking and swimming
o Although not essential, a clean driving licence would be preferred
o Have a mature and compassionate attitude
o Be a positive role model in all aspects of your work
o Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
o Be willing to work towards a qualification relevant to the role
In return, we can offer you:
o 6 weeks (including bank holidays) paid holiday increasing to 8 weeks
