Building Control Surveyor needed in South West London Paying £318.96 per day ref 1637537
Full time hours on a temporary basis
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and approve building regulation applications, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
- Conduct site inspections at various stages of construction to monitor compliance and quality.
- Provide expert advice to architects, developers, contractors, and members of the public.
- Investigate breaches of building regulations and take appropriate enforcement action.
- Prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate records of inspections and decisions.
- Mentor and support junior surveyors, sharing technical knowledge and best practices.
- Keep up to date with changes in legislation, standards, and industry developments.
- Collaborate with planning, fire safety, and environmental teams to ensure integrated service delivery.
