We are currently recruiting for multiple Community Caretakers.
The overall purpose of the Community Caretaker role is to provide a range of estate management services across Valleys to Coast estates and open spaces, utilising a service vehicle and a variety of equipment. You will work on a programme of cyclical and reactive tasks, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and improving the physical appearance of our open spaces.
As part of the role you will be required to develop positive relationships with customers and residents, use small tools and plant machinery safely and competently, including strimmers, hedge trimmers, mowers, mini diggers, and tracked dumpers, in line with the National Plant Operator Registration Scheme and carry out weekly fire alarm, sprinkler pressure, and other service tests at required sites.
As an equal opportunities employer, Valleys to Coast is committed to the equal treatment of all current and prospective employees and does not condone discrimination on the basis of age, disability, sex, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity, race or ethnicity, religion or belief, gender identity, or marriage and civil partnership. We aspire to have a diverse and inclusive workplace and strongly encourage suitably qualified applicants from a wide range of backgrounds to apply and join Valleys to Coast.
Valleys to Coast reserves the right to close the job role earlier than the specified closing date if sufficient applications have been received. Therefore, we encourage you to submit your application as soon as reasonably practicable. We look forward to hearing from you.
