Crynodeb
Resettlement Services works with partners to safely resettle and transfer vulnerable families, adults and children to and across the UK. It delivers the UK’s resettlement, relocation and integration schemes for refugees and other eligible beneficiaries.
The payments team is responsible for over £330 million per year in resettlement funding which enables local authorities (LAs), community groups and our external partners help integrate those who have been resettled in the United Kingdom via safe and legal routes.
The successful candidates will support the management and wider team process claims for funding, while building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders who support beneficiaries in their resettlement journey.
The AO Administrative Officer role within the Resettlement Services Payments Team is contact and work directly with Strategic Migration Partnerships (SMPs), local authorities (LAs), the wider Home Office and other Government Departments on payment claims; in particular data matching claims that have been submitted and working with LAs to work through errors within the claims process. Administrative Officers also work closely with teams across Resettlement Services to promote understanding of the payment and funding frameworks, supporting LAs and the wider team with customer engagement, supporting the payment process.
Key responsibilities:
The post holders(s) will be responsible for the following:
• Ensuring claims meet the required data matching standards according to guidance and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Work with other team members to ensure that the claims meet the service level agreements for our customers.
• Proactively supporting the relationships between the Home Office, external stakeholders and other internal stakeholders with payment questions and queries, the claims process and further support as and when required, working with the (EO) Executive Officer Payment Officer Team.
• Proactively support the Senior Management team with local authority workshops.
• Become a subject matter expert within your specific, allocated geographical regions.
• Champion Home Office values of being collaborative, courageous, respectful and compassionate.
Working Pattern:
This role is available on a full-time basis with the option of job-share and compressed hours working. This role is also suitable for part-time working hours, with a minimum requirement to work <3 days / 23 hours> per week due to business requirements.
Home Working arrangement is not suitable for this vacancy.
Training:
While in training they need to attend the office 100% for a min of 6 weeks.
