Flexibility required for emergency call-outs and urgent repairs

About the Role:
Property Maintenance Services Ltd is seeking a skilled and reliable Plasterer to join our growing team. You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality plastering works across a range of residential properties, including HMOs and supported accommodation. Your work will help maintain safe, compliant, and professionally finished living environments for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Apply plaster to walls, ceilings, and partitions using skimming, float and set, and rendering techniques
• Prepare surfaces by removing old plaster, cleaning, and applying bonding agents
• Repair cracks, holes, and damaged plasterwork to a high standard
• Install dry lining and render finishes where required
• Work alongside other trades to ensure seamless property maintenance
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and adhere to health and safety protocols
• Record completed works and report any issues or delays to the supervisor
• Ensure all work complies with housing regulations and HMO standards
What We’re Looking For:
Skills & Experience:
• Minimum 2 years’ plastering experience in domestic or social housing settings
• Skilled in a range of plastering techniques and surface preparation
• Experience working in HMO or supported accommodation environments (preferred)
• Understanding of safeguarding and working respectfully in tenant-occupied properties
Qualifications:
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Plastering or Construction
• CSCS card (preferred)
• Asbestos Awareness and Manual Handling certification (desirable)

Compliance & Safeguarding:
All staff must adhere to Property Maintenance Servicesss Ltd’s safeguarding policies and undergo an enhanced DBS check prior to employment. Training in housing compliance and trauma-informed practice will be provided.
