The school is seeking a dedicated Dance Teacher to cover a one-year maternity leave from January 2026. This full-time position is perfect for a passionate teacher eager to contribute to a high-performing department with a fantastic reputation for excellence in the Arts.
Final-year trainee teachers will also be considered, particularly those who may be available part-time from January, moving to full-time from March/April for the remainder of the academic year.
As a Dance Teacher, you'll be responsible for:
- Delivering engaging and inspiring Dance lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Planning and assessing lessons in line with departmental schemes of work
- Encouraging creativity, self-expression, and teamwork in every class
- Supporting school performances, productions, and extra-curricular activities
- Collaborating with colleagues to share best practice and uphold high standards of teaching and learning
