£36,160- £36,914 / £37,801 - £40,464 pro rata
£18.74 - £19.13 / £19.59 - £20.97 per hour
The above amounts include shift allowance and Distant Islands Allowance

To be appointed at grade E:
You should hold an SVQ2 or equivalent qualification in Social Care AND achieve SVQ3 in Social Care or other relevant qualification to enable registration with the SSSC as a Practitioner in a Care Home Service for Adults within 3 years of appointment
To be appointed at or to progress to grade F:
SVQ3 in Social Care or other relevant qualification to enable registration with the SSSC as a Practitioner in a Care Home Service for Adults.
There is a requirement to gain registration with SSSC as a Practitioner in a Care Home Service for adults within 3 months of appointment.
Ability to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Orkney to meet the operational requirements of the Service
This post is subject to a Level 2 Disclosure Check with PVG for working in a regulated role with protected adults.
There are two SCW posts currently and applications for both posts will be accepted if you are looking for a full-time position.
