Supply Chain Supervisor (Night Shift)
We are seeking a Supply Chain Supervisor to ensure smooth manufacturing operations including movement of staff to areas required,
serving production materials and ensuring all order picking and vehicle loading operations are completed on time and in a safe
manner.

Location: Crewe, CW1 6XQ
Our Crewe site specialises in frozen savoury and sweet bakery products as well as ready meals for retail and food service. It's
the home to Wrights Food Group!
Hours: Sunday-Wednesday: 10pm-6:30am & Thursday: 11pm-6:30am
Salary: £35,000
Key Duties:
* Ensure all frozen chilled and ambient product is stock located safely and correctly ensuring physical stock movements are
mirrored on the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
* Ensure customer orders are fulfilled with all available stock and any shortcomings are communicated effectively.
* To maintain the integrity of the cold chain.
* People management and leadership responsibility for direct and in-direct reports.
* Allocate resource, ensuring all activities within the logistics area are suitably covered.
* To ensure all relevant paperwork is filled in and stored correctly and shift reports are communicated to the wider team.
* Liaise with Production Managers regarding material supply ensuring production running time is not impacted by the timely
delivery of required items.
* To maintain and report on KPI’s.
* To ensure area is always audit ready, ensuring hygiene policies such as “Clean as you go” are always adhered to.
* Conduct root cause analysis for any issues where procedures and policies are not followed
* Recommend improvements to the area in terms of performance, SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures), fabrication and design.
* Ensure all food safety and quality standards are adhered to
* Ensure a safe working environment for all employees by enforcement of company health and safety policy and by developing a
proactive culture to reducing accidents.
Knowledge, Experience and Skills:
* Warehouse management experience.
* Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and intended use.
* Ability to analyse and present operational Key Performance Indicators' (KPI)
* Familiar in the use of inventory control software for the receiving and issuing of stock in a manufacturing environment.
* Good level of numerical skills.
* High level of IT skills (e.g., word/excel/PowerPoint/outlook)
* Energy drive and determination to succeed.
* Ability to build strong working relationships external & internal colleagues.
* Proactive nature, willing to learn quickly and to take new challenges.
* Attention to detail and organisation skills
* Good interpersonal and communication skills with internal and external contacts.
* Team working skills across disciplines and departments.
* Self-motivated with ability to motivate others.
* Ability to complete root cause analysis.
