Do you love working with children and want to make a difference in their early education? We’re looking for enthusiastic Welsh speaking Teaching Assistants to support pupils in welcoming and vibrant primary schools across Carmarthenshire.
About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting teachers and pupils in Welsh-medium and bilingual classrooms. Every day is rewarding and different — from helping small groups with literacy and numeracy to encouraging creativity, play, and confidence in learning through the Welsh language.
You’ll be:
Supporting pupils’ learning and wellbeing, both one-to-one and in small groups
Helping to create a positive and engaging classroom environment
Assisting with classroom activities, resources, and displays
Promoting the use of Welsh across all areas of school life
We’d love to hear from you if you:
Speak fluent Welsh (essential)
Enjoy working with children and helping them reach their potential
Are kind, patient, and a great team player
Have experience working with children (in school or other settings)
Hold a relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) – but we also welcome applications from those with experience and enthusiasm!
