We are seeking a proactive and organised Commercial Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative and commercial support across our project teams.
Job Description
Working closely with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, and Contract teams, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth project delivery, accurate financial tracking, and effective stakeholder communication throughout the lifecycle of all Move and Change projects.
This is a hands-on role for someone with strong administrative skills, commercial awareness, and attention to detail. You will assist in managing project cashflow, mitigating commercial risks, and maintaining accurate reporting while supporting day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative and commercial support to Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, and Contract teams.
Assist with invoicing, purchase orders, and supplier payments, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
Support project reporting, cashflow management, and commercial documentation.
Maintain and update project trackers to ensure the commercial position is clear and up to date.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
Liaise with Quantity Surveyors to provide updates on workload and upcoming tasks.
Assist in preparing and presenting commercial reports to Contract Managers and other stakeholders.
Support compliance, governance, and internal reporting processes.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Strong administrative background; experience in invoicing, commercial support, or inventory management is a bonus.
Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook) and general IT competency.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage stakeholder expectations professionally and effectively.
Proactive, flexible, and adaptable with a willingness to learn new ways of working.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
