About the School
This is a specialist all‑through school in Rugby supporting pupils with a wide range of complex needs across both Primary and Secondary phases. Your new role
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs (Autism, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, PMLD).
- Support pupils across Primary and Secondary classrooms, adapting to different age groups and learning levels.
- Assist teachers in delivering tailored learning plans linked to EHCP targets.
- Encourage communication, social interaction, and independence.
- Help create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school, care, or youth work backgrounds considered).
- Patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work across both Primary and Secondary age groups.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
