Manpower Recruitment are in new partnership with a unique hospitality environment in Banbury area and are looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead customer service.

This is a Full-Time role working 5/7 days and flexibility will be needed to work weekend split shifts (busiest time)

The role is paying up to £35000-37000pa + up to £8000pa in service charge paid monthly.
Typical working hours
  • Monday the environment is closed.
  • Day off in the week.
  • No requirement to work a late shift on a Sunday evening.
  • Day hours would typically be 8.30- 4.30pm and Friday and Saturday split shifts day and evening.
  • Bank Holidays are open to business
  • Christmas hours and openings reduced

Restaurant Manager responsibilities include maintaining the restaurant's revenue, profitability and quality goals. You will ensure efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
To be successful in this role, you'll need management skills and experience in both front and back of the house. We want you to know how to oversee the dining room, check-in with customers and balance seating capacity. Back of the house management experience is also essential, Restaurant Manager duties and responsibilities

Restaurant Manager manages staff and may be required to fill in for any employee in a restaurant. Some of the important duties and responsibilities typically involve:
  • Organising staff and delegating tasks
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Leading by example at all times.
  • Working with food and drink suppliers
  • Ensuring all food safety procedures are strictly followed according to sanitary regulations
  • Following all company policy and procedures regarding dealing with cash, equipment and property
  • Cleaning the kitchen according to regulatory guidelines
  • Maintaining safe working conditions
  • Auditing inventory levels to ensure product availability, and ordering products as necessary
  • Recruiting and training staff
  • Working closely with management to meet revenue objectives
  • Implementing appropriate strategies to resolve adverse trends and improve sales
