Multi-Drop Van Courier Drivers Wanted - Immediate Starts Available!
Location: Howden
Pay: £12.21
Hours: 7:00am start - finish around 5:00pm (flexibility required)
Contract: Temporary (November-January) with potential for permanent opportunities
The Best Connection are currently recruiting a number of Multi-Drop Van Courier Drivers to support our client during their peak period from November through January.
This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable, hardworking individuals who are keen to start work as soon as possible. For those who excel, there is genuine potential for a permanent position after the peak period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out multi-drop parcel deliveries and collections (around 80 drops per day)
- Load your van at the start of each shift
- The driver will be expected to have a smart phone and be prepared to download the clients App onto their phone for use whilst delivering and collecting parcels.
- Provide excellent customer service at every drop-off and collection
Requirements:
- Aged 21 or over (for insurance purposes)
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
- Previous multi-drop or delivery driving experience preferred
- Good knowledge of local routes and ability to work independently
Additional Information:
- Inductions and training will take place week commencing 10th November
- Peak period runs 17th November through to January
- Applicants must be able to commit to the full peak period
