St. Andrew’s School has the following vacancy to start in January 2026

Domestic Assistant

Part time, Term Time Only, 10 hours per week, 5 - 7pm

FTE £23,706 Actual Salary £5,689 (based on an hourly rate of £12.99)

St. Andrew’s School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cleaner to join our friendly and professional cleaning team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive and welcoming environment where high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are valued and maintained.

Able to communicate effectively
Experience is welcome, but not essential — the right attitude and a willingness to learn are what matter most.

What We Offer:

A supportive working environment within a small, friendly team
Guidance from an experienced Housekeeper
Term-time only hours (37.2 weeks per year: term time plus 6 days)
Monthly salary payments across the full year
Overtime paid for additional 2-week deep clean in late August
Cleaning duties are assigned on a rota basis by the Housekeeper and may vary according to the school’s needs.

Contract: Term-time only + additional August deep clean (paid overtime)
