Location: Bordesley Green, Birmingham, B9
Daily Rate: £105-£115 per day
Contract: Long Term to permanent
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm

We are looking for a dedicated and nurturing individual to join a caring and inclusive school in Bordesley Green as a SEND Teaching Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with complex needs, helping them thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with complex SEND, including autism, learning difficulties and communication needs.
- Implement EHCPs and adapt activities to match each pupil's abilities.
- Support with sensory activities and emotional regulation when required.
- Encourage pupils to build independence, confidence and engagement in learning.
- Work closely with teachers, therapists and the SENCO to monitor progress and maintain consistency of support.
- Promote a safe, positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child can succeed.
About You:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEND or complex needs.
- Calm, patient and compassionate with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Confident supporting pupils with autism, communication difficulties or physical needs.
- A Level 2/3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
