Location: Worsley, Salford
Contract Type: Full-time, Term-time only
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £110 a day

Are you an experienced and passionate Senior SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next rewarding challenge?
We are working with a supportive and inclusive primary school in Worsley that is seeking a confident and adaptable practitioner to join their SEN provision, supporting children across Reception to Year 6 with a variety of additional needs.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong SEN background who can bring knowledge, leadership, and initiative to a well-established and nurturing team.

The Role

As a Senior SEN TA, you'll play a key role in supporting the learning and development of pupils with Autism, ADHD, MLD, SLD, and other complex needs. You'll work both 1:1 and with small groups, helping to deliver a range of tailored interventions across the primary age range.

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing targeted support to children with additional needs from EYFS through to KS2

Leading and delivering intervention programmes that support communication, social and emotional development, and academic progress

Working collaboratively with the SENCo, class teachers, and external professionals to ensure individual EHCP targets are met

About You

Hold a Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent) - essential

Have experience working with SEN pupils across all primary key stages (EYFS-KS2)

Strong understanding of EHCPs, differentiation and positive behaviour management

Confident in supporting children with Autism, ADHD, and complex learning needs
