About the Role

Support work is a highly rewarding role where you assist individuals, often with learning disabilities, mental health needs, or physical challenges, to live as independently and confidently as possible. As a Support Worker, you'll provide practical help with daily tasks, offer emotional encouragement, and promote social inclusion, enabling people to lead fulfilling lives at home and in the community.

Key responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting individuals with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care
  • Promoting independence and helping service users develop life skills
  • Providing emotional support and building positive relationships
  • Assisting with medication management (where required and trained)
  • Supporting individuals to access the community, attend appointments, or participate in social activities
  • Encouraging and enabling service users to achieve personal goals
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns to the care team
  • Ensuring a safe, respectful, and person-centred environment at all times

Key Requirements

  • Driver
  • Minimum 6 months of professional care experience
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Up-to-date CV with full work history

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for individuals who are compassionate, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality care. Ideally, you will have:

  • Driver status - Must be a driver / Access to vehicle
  • Minimum 6 months of professional care experience
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Up-to-date CV with full work history
