An opportunity has arisen in our High-Rise facilities in Leicester as an Operations Assistant. In this role you will provide administration support and assistance to ensure effective housing management and customer focussed service at Platform's high-rise units in Leicester.

This is a full-time role working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, based at our Elizabeth House and DeMontfort House sites in Leicester. Applicants will need to be based in a commutable distance to Leicester to be considered for this role.

What could you be doing as Operations Assistant?
-Assisting with the tenancy management in line with service standards and policies.

-Proving exemplary customer service to our residents and making sure complaints and disputes are handled effectively.

-Providing effective administration support to ensure all cases are updated on our systems.

-Logging communal repairs and liaising with stakeholders, ensuring these are completed by target date.

-Overseeing the management of parking at the sites. This will include the advertising, applications and resolving of complaints.

-Ensuring compliance matters are all adequately addressed in line with policies.

What are some things that we need from you?
-Experience in an administration role, gained within the Housing sector.

-Knowledge of up-to-date housing legislation would be beneficial.

-Excellent communication skills, which will allow you to communicate effectively with customers who may be upset or distressed.

-The ability to work on your own initiative, stay calm when under pressure and have a proactive approach to your work

-Computer skills and the ability to carry out basic administration tasks.

-First-class organisation skills with the capability to accurately record and report incidents 

-A basic DBS check is required for this role.
