We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Farnworth, Bolton, supporting a child with Autism (ASD) on a 1:1 basis. This rewarding role is ideal for someone who is patient, nurturing, and confident in managing challenging behaviour in a positive and inclusive way.
About the Role:
You will be providing individualised support to a verbal child with Autism, helping them to access the curriculum and develop both academically and socially. The child can display challenging behaviours at times, so an understanding and consistent approach to behaviour management is essential. You will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider school staff to create a supportive, structured, and engaging learning environment.
