Hays is proud to be working with a forward-thinking local council to recruit a Data Protection and Information Sharing Officer. This newly created role is a key part of the council's evolving data governance strategy, particularly as they embark on their journey with Microsoft Purview.
Role Overview:
As the Data Protection and Information Sharing Officer, you will: support the council's response to information access requests. Collaborate closely with the Data Protection Officer to implement and optimise Microsoft Purview. Contribute to the development and refinement of the council's Data Governance Policy.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience of implementing Microsoft Purview within an organisation.
- Strong understanding of information access request processes.
- Background in the public sector is highly desirable.
- Experience in information and data strategy, including policy creation and governance frameworks.
