This is an incredibly exciting time at St Bartholomew's Hospital as we realise a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to improve services for today’s patients and future generations, creating world class Cancer and Cardiovascular services. We have opportunities for Theatre scrub practitioner with General experience to join us at St Bartholomew's Hospital.
You will be an experienced Scrub Practitioner with demonstrable commitment to your own professional development and experience in a busy theatre environment. Our Thoracic and General theatres support Breast surgery, Endocrine, ENT and Occular surgery. Experience within these specialities is essential alongside enthusiasm and a desire to provide high quality and compassionate care for our patients.
We offer a wide range of development opportunities including, Band 5 development programme, the opportunity for further academic studies and attendance at external conferences and courses.
Responsible for the delivery of high-quality patient focused care by providing and maintain a safe environment for all patients whilst in theatres
Perform all aspects of the scrub and circulating role within theatre whilst delivering quality of care and maintenance of standard
Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team in achieving a high standard of patient care
**There are multiple roles and reserve lists may be maintained."
