- Assist students in developing social skills, self-esteem, and independence
- Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining accurate records and communicating regularly with teachers and parents
- Support the maintenance of a safe and inclusive classroom environment
Required qualifications and skills:
- Relevant qualifications in education, special needs support, or a related field
- Experience working with children or young people with diverse learning needs
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
- Proficiency in using educational technology and assistive devices
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
- A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to supporting student learning
